On 9th June 2022, 35 Teams of more than 120 challengers boarded a train at Crewe to embark on the first of their train journeys to take on The Railway Children 3 Peaks Challenge By Rail.

To reach the summit of Snowdon in North Wales, Scafell Pike in England and Ben Nevis in Scotland using only trains to reach each location.

In partnership with Race Time Result, I provided technical support and monitoring while the event was in progress to assist in making sure that everyone had a safe and enjoyable time.
Unfortunately, due to horrendous weather conditions on the final stage with up to 70 Mile an hour winds, the Event Management Crew had little choice but to cut the final stage on Ben Nevis short for the safety of all.
Even so, the challengers raised an absolutely staggering £175,000 for the charity in this fantastic and challenging event. I and the Race Time Result team would like to offer a huge well done to everyone involved in the event. Amazing!
A hundred and twenty walkers have not long left the start line of The South Downs Trek to help raise funds for St. Barnabas House Hospice Care. The Trek is an off-road marathon length (26.2 miles) walk across the beautiful South Downs.
With our live mapping and tracking services, I’m providing remote support with the team from Race Time Result to assist in making sure everyone has a fantastic day as they raise money for this worthy charity.

Two thousand eager runners are just leaving the start line this morning for their chosen distance (5 Km, 10 Km or Half Marathon) at the, sold out, Chelmsford Half in Essex!

A hundred and fifty teams of Scouts and Guides are undertaking an adventurous night hike across the darkened Cotswold hills tonight for the 49th Cotswold Marathon!
With no pre-planned routes provided, this huge group of brave youngsters are navigating their own way to a series of checkpoints on one of three different course lengths of 10, 20 and 30 miles.
Using GPS tracking technology from Race Time Result and with me on call as technical support, Gloucester District Scout Council will be able to make sure that everyone stays safe and has a great night on their challenge!

Almost 200 eager challengers have now left Knettishall Heath on the outskirts of Thetford, and are making their way North along the Peddars Way to Holme-Next-The-Sea on the Norfolk Coast.
