It’s been a busy time since I started this challenge back at the end of April. A great deal of time in schools delivering Bikeability and doing other activities has kept me very occupied. Not to mention the theft of my e-bike back in June putting something of a dent in my enthusiasm.
That all being said, I have been able to get out at least once a week and I’m currently away for a break in the fantastic Lake District.
While here, I’ve been taking the opportunity to really break in my new bike properly and see how we handle some slightly tougher terrain than found in Suffolk.

While rattling around the hills, I realised that a couple of days ago I’d hit the halfway point of the Forestry England #Forest450 Challenge

I’m slightly behind the pace from a time perspective, with only 10 weeks to go until the challenge ends, but with another few days still to go before I return home, I’m going to see if I can put a dent in the miles I have left to go.
